WHY THE METRO EAST IS OUR HOME MARKET
Madison County is where Green Acres does the majority of its work, and St. Clair County is a close second — together, the two counties make up the Metro East and our entire core service area. We don’t treat the county line as a service boundary, because the properties and property owners on either side of it look the same. Both counties share the same customer profile: a significant population of people in the three-to-twenty-acre range. Homeowners who moved out of St. Louis for space, military families connected to Scott Air Force Base (which sits in St. Clair County near Belleville, O’Fallon, and Shiloh) who’ve purchased property on either side of the county line, and commercial investors who hold land throughout the region.
The invasive species problem doesn’t stop at the county line, either. Asian bush honeysuckle, honey locust, and Russian olive are widespread throughout the wooded and partially wooded acreage in both Madison and St. Clair Counties. Green Acres has addressed these issues on properties across the region, and the demand for forestry mulching and invasive species removal has been consistent since the business launched in 2018.

A: We serve both counties fully. Madison County is our home base and where we do the most work, but St. Clair County is right next door and a major part of our service area too. Our location in Troy puts us within a reasonable drive of communities throughout both counties.
