Green Acres is run by Clint Green. When you call, you're talking to the person who will do your job. There's no sales staff or dispatchers in between — Clint handles everything from estimate to completion.
Yes. Every project starts with a free estimate. Clint will visit your property, assess what needs to be done, and give you a clear picture of what the work involves and what it will cost — with no pressure and no obligation.
Yes. Land clearing, vegetation management, and most services are available year-round. Winter can actually be a good time for clearing because dormant vegetation is easier to navigate. Snow removal is available during winter months as well.
Forestry mulching uses a specialized machine that grinds trees, brush, and woody vegetation directly in place — in a single pass. Nothing is piled, burned, or hauled away. The material is left as a natural mulch layer that stabilizes the ground and breaks down over time. It's the most efficient clearing method for most Metro East properties.
CRP stands for Conservation Reserve Program — a federal program where landowners agree to set aside agricultural land for a contract period. When the contract ends, the land often has significant vegetation growth that needs to be cleared before it can be returned to productive use. Green Acres handles that transition.
Yes. Invasive Asian bush honeysuckle removal is one of our most common services. We also handle honey locust and Russian olive — the other two invasive species most frequently found on Metro East properties.
Yes. Shoreline clearing on completely overgrown pond properties is one of the most dramatic transformations we deliver. Properties where you couldn't get to the water at all become fully accessible after the work is done.
Yes. Commercial landowners, developers, and property investors are a significant part of our client base. We handle commercial clearing, site prep, gravel lot maintenance, and snow removal for commercial clients throughout the Metro East.
Green Acres focuses primarily on properties in the three-to-twenty-plus-acre range, and takes on larger commercial projects as well. For very small residential jobs, give us a call and we'll let you know if it's a good fit.
